Monty is a 3 year old male purple albino mainland reticulated python. He is very calm and social so will be an excellent addition to the Snake Haus education team.
He was purchased as a baby by someone at a reptile expo. Like so many other giants, after growing for a few years they realized he was too big for them. This is unfortunately very common. We need to spread the word about how these snake really are as adults. They have wonderful personalities and are so much fun to work with but, yes, they get HUGE!
