Yoda is about 1 year old in this picture. We look forward to watching him grow in the coming years.
The green anaconda is a water snake. They are quite shy and prefer to stay submerged and/or hidden within swampy vegetation for much of their lives. They even hunt in the water and often will pull their prey underwater to drowned it before eating. Check out Yoda’s enclosure to see how provide a water environment for him.
