Acantrophis dumerili
The Dumeril’s and Madagascar ground boas are unique snakes. They are very different from the true red tails and common boas in that they prefer to stay low on the ground and burrow under vegetation. Dumi’s are quite calm snakes but can be a bit shy. They will appreciate an enclosure that helps them feel hidden and secure. Too much open space and exposure can cause undue stress.
