This gorgeous girl is a Peruvian red tail – that’s a bcc or a true red tail. The Peruvians are quite rare and Viola is only the third one we’ve seen so far. They are the largest of the boa localities and can become very large. They are slow growers though so don’t reach large size for many many years.
Viola was adopted long ago from another reptile rescue by her most recent owner. She has now been moved to Snake Haus due to her large size where she can live out her later years in comfort.
